The shelf life of Magnesium power is 24 months from production date if your pouch is unopened and stored in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight. There is a best before date printed on the back label.
Once opened keep your it sealed in the pouch, or for ease of use you can store in an airtight jar or container and it can be stored in the cupboard.
